Gem’s Electrical was built with a simple standard: do the work right, communicate clearly, and treat every customer like family. Owner Frank Golino started young in the trade, earned his degree in electrical contracting and sharpened his skills on demanding NYC job sites, including work connected to the World Trade Center area. Today, that same standard shows up in every detail, clean workmanship, careful planning and no shortcuts.

Gem's Electrical Contracting is owned and operated by Frank Golino, a Master Electrician with over 20 years of hands-on experience. Frank started young, earned a degree in electrical contracting and worked on demanding job sites in New York City. He named the business after his daughter, which means reputation and quality are personal commitments on every job.
We have a team of approximately 10 trained electricians and support staff. We are not a one-man operation. Our crew has the capacity to handle multiple jobs simultaneously, including large-scale commercial projects and residential service calls, without sacrificing quality or communication.
We handle a full range of residential and commercial electrical work on Long Island, including electrical panel upgrades, generator installation, EV charger installation, lighting, wiring and rewiring, smart home systems, and commercial new construction and tenant fit-outs. We also serve industrial clients with electrical installations for heavy machinery and high-demand power systems.
We serve all of Suffolk County and Nassau County on Long Island, as well as all five boroughs of New York City. In Suffolk County we regularly work in West Babylon, Babylon, Lindenhurst, Deer Park, Bay Shore, Islip, Commack and Huntington, among other towns.
